Admit it. If you are stopped at a red light and a bright red Ferrari pulls up to your left, you start thinking that your Mustang can beat that exotic sports car off of the line. Well, maybe, if the other driver is preoccupied on his cell phone. No matter whether you are a real gear-head, admirer of beautiful cars, or just want to see what is new for 2015, you can see it all at the Orange County International Auto Show.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year just like the Ford Mustang, the Orange County International Auto Show will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center from October 2 to October 5, 2014. If you are in town to see the show and maybe visit Disneyland or a day or two, you’ll need somewhere to stay. You can find very comfortable and affordable accommodations just a few blocks from the Convention Center. The Anaheim Express Inn Maingate is within easy walking distance and provides free breakfast, comfortable beds, and all of the amenities you want and need.

The Show is a no-pressure opportunity to learn about all of the innovative features that are part of the new car lineup. You can step inside, sit down behind the wheel, and even ask to take a test drive. There will be pretty models on hand to draw your attention to the many gorgeous 4-wheel models.
The Orange County International Auto Show kicks-off the beginning of the auto show season on the West Coast with cars that will appeal to every taste. An area will be designated for the Classic Car display, featuring immaculate cars that date back as far as the early twentieth century. If you are into hot rods, drift cars, or tricked-out vehicles owned by celebrities, you will get to see them too.
Families with kids are welcome to attend and enjoy a day of fun. Hank, the Ford Robot, is always a big hit with the younger crowd. A special area is set aside for remote control cars where the kids can take the controls and race. The City of Anaheim brings police cars and fire trucks and lets the kids climb aboard and pretend they are part of the city’s finest force. Plan on spending a few hours so you can see everything from eco-friendly electric vehicles to classic million dollar touring sedans.
