Americans love their cars and have been going to auto shows for more than a century. Even before the first Model-T rolled off of Henry Ford’s assembly line in 1908, automobiles were on public display. The first auto show took place in 1900 in New York. When the first auto show was held there were less than 200,000 automobiles in the United States. Today, there are more than 100,000,000 registered vehicles in the United States.

500 of the Newest Cars, Trucks, and SUVs Under One Roof
Imagine how much time it would take you to visit five different dealers to test drive five different sports cars and narrow your purchasing choice down to just one or two. You’d have to walk around the lot, wait for the salesman to approach, and then wait for him to find you a car that you could test drive. Throw in the time you have to spend in the office trying to negotiate price, and you could easily spend three hours at each dealership.
When you come to the Orange County Auto Show, you can see dozens of sports cars on display. You can compare the 2016 Acura NSX that many are calling a hybrid supercar to the Corvette Z06 that with 640 hp and can go from 0 to 60 in just 3.7 seconds. You may want to check out the new Cadillac CTS-V that has the same 6.2-liter V8 engine as the Corvette and can hit 200 mph.
